Nitcon Online Teachers Training Report

The online training programme for the teachers initiated on 1st May 2019 by C.T.S.A with the collaboration jointly by NITCON Ltd and EDUSPARK formally concluded on 30th May 2019 in CST Mussoorie. The objective of such course had been mainly to enable the teachers to deal with 21st Century tech savvy learners. The main focus of the training was based on six components like 21st Century approaches to learning pedagogy and evaluation, fundamentals of child development, spectrum of special needs, basics in safety practices in schools, basics in health and nutrition and above all basics in Ms Office and ICT Tools in teaching and learning. On 30th May 2019 a valedictory function was conducted in presence of the Principal cum Venue Director Sh. S. P. Singh and the Course Coordinator Sh. Harender Singh. Twenty teacher participants who accomplished the training course diligently and sincerely were appreciated and awarded with Certificates. The Course Coordinator Sh. Harender Singh expressed his profound indebtedness to the Director of Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA), Delhi and both the Joint Directors of CTSA for their administrative support, motivation and vision. He also thanked the Principal CST Mussoorie for all the support, guidance and providing conducive atmosphere for such training in the school. The Principal Sh. S.P.Singh reiterated that in service training programmes are inevitable to keep pace with ever changing methodology in the teaching profession. The chalk and talk methodology is fast changing into collaborative inter-disciplinary digital learning and use of ICT. The Chief Coordinator Sh Asit Katyayan, the Rector of school Mr. Thakchoe Tsering and teachers Mr. R.K.Mishra, Ms. Sweta Agarwal presented their impression on the day.

Sh S.C.Rauto and Sh. Manjeet Singh coordinated the entire programme. During the programme the teachers were provided with unique ID s and login pass words to attempt every module of the training course. It was enormously useful and extensively enriching.
